Sarah Zimmerman Fogle is a DeLand native and follows in the footsteps of her late father, Mark Zimmerman, past DeLand City Attorney and injury lawyer. Sarah has been immersed in the world of trial law from an early age, growing up in a family where her father practiced as an attorney. That early exposure fostered a deep, intuitive understanding of courtroom practice and the litigation process that continues to shape her professional approach today. Over time, she has developed a strong foundation in trial preparation and case support, bringing a practical, seasoned perspective to the firm’s litigation team. Her longstanding familiarity with the dynamics of trial work provides valuable insight and contributes meaningfully to the preparation and presentation of each case.

Sarah graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism in 2011 and from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015. While at Coastal, she was a member of the legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi, and received multiple book awards. After law school, Sarah worked for Landis, Graham & French and Cobb Cole, focusing in the areas of probate, estate planning and trusts. She joined Wilkerson & Rood in 2023 bringing with her years of legal experience and unwavering belief in the value of giving back to our community. Sarah is a member of The Florida Bar and Volusia Bar Association, and a past board member of the Volusia Flagler Association of Women Lawyers (VFAWL).
